Agendas and Minutes
The Executive Board is made up of all chapter presidents, all state officers, and all past state presidents. Any president who is unable to attend may appoint an official representative to vote in her place. All state committee chairs should be prepared to report. Any other member is invited to attend if she desires.

We are so proud of Judith Merz, Epsilon Chapter, for her acceptance into the Fall Art Gallery for her poetry, "Make Every Time the Last Time". Alpha Chapter
Awarded to Arts for All, Nevada Title I Program to pay for Artist in Residency workshops and supplies (5 hours of art instruction at $70 per hour) for the five Title I elementary schools in Reno (Kate Smith, Virginia Palmer, Agnes Risley, Robert Mitchell, and Bernice Matthews)
Gamma Chapter
Awarded to Lisa Lee, Cahlan Elementary librarian, for her Lego Art Museum project
Delta Chapter
Awarded 11 $250 grants to 1 elementary and 5 high school teachers in Douglas and 1 middle school and 4 elementary teachers in Carson. The high school projects included a fingerprint scanner for enhancing biometrics in the classroom, a mini portable PCR machine for molecular biology, 2 catapult/trebuchet/battering ram kits for bringing history to life, set design materials for Apple ET play and dinner theater, and creative writing materials for workshops and a Write Night performance venue. Elementary projects included Santa’s Story Squad book deliveries to students’ homes, hands-on learning math manipulatives, book sets to build stamina with independent reading, a math raffle reward program, and 2 GATE axolotl classroom pets with tanks.
Epsilon Chapter
Awarded to Jennifer Neeman, Epsilon member, for her ongoing involvement with and service to Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNLV
Theta Chapter
Awarded to Coral Academy of Science Elementary - $250 for a classroom printer and to Brown Elementary - $250 for basic sensory items for 3-5 special education students with autism
Nu Chapter
Awarded to Toni Nielsen - $140 for her class to buy special books; to Rhonda Holloway - $280 for school supplies; and to Mark Twain Elementary - $80 for a gardening program
Xi Chapter
Awarded to Isabel Rodriguez, Sparks Middle School teacher, for SEL support materials
